It was codified with more than 100 special education teachers to be an assessment tool and a system for preparing individual educational programs, it’s a nonstandardized continuum of behaviors and skills.
It contains 2,300 observable skills called “behavioral characteristics”, divided into 56 domains categorized into 7 main aspects: cognitive, language, fine muscle, large muscle, social, independence.
There are no age groups for BCP skills, so an individual’s abilities and needs can be determined regardless of age.
